Having last final semester in university to go. Last time said reopen on July which after I finish all the study, now why on May? Who else having same problem with me?

ReplyDeleteI supposed the semester ends in May or June. The test should be in early June as the closing date for this intake is May. Plus, the test is done in batches. You can still go for the test if shortlisted. Good luck!
When I clicked on the website, it says, the application is closed? why is that?
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about that as they advertised the closing date is May 7th. But I saw new message in the page in which previously wasn't there : "Once the quota of application has been met, the application site will be closed."

ReplyDeleteIzzat : apply online is enough. they'll shortlist everyone based on academic results. :)

ReplyDeleteYour questions are quite tough though. :P I'm not too sure but regarding the application result, it depends on the management but guess what, I received my reply in just a day. And from my experience, no reply means unsuccessful.

SOON : i'm not too sure bout this but some in flylah forum said that *this* application was for July intake. Probably the 1st stage will be held in June/July/August. Be a member at flylah.com, very informative forum for wannabe like us. :)
First step : application? hehehe airlines cadet recruitment is the best as you'll be sponsored *hutang with company* to further your study in flying academy. Apply and wait for what should you do next. Can also get your flying licence personally and privately in flying academy but you'll need like RM300K for that. Need to get DCA approval letter first, then find funding. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Yuki. Nice to meet you. I am one of the anon. thank for your info anyway. Study locally in piloting is double of the price compare oh the overseas which located in Philippines. Local is abt RM300K. And the Philippines is around RM120K- RM150K. I don't know what is difference between them. But i listened from some obey saying that is d different for the license. The license fRom Philippines, is not recognise in Msia. :(

btw, do you know more abt the flying institute in Philippines? I think this is the only way to become a pilot. cause it is really no other choice for it if not being selected.

because some of the guys in "flylah.com" have already started recieving their emails over the past two days...not sure when they applied...but looks like air asia has started sending out emails already to the candidates =)

ReplyDeleteYa, I've heard about the license conversion before. Due to different license format? Got JAA, FAA, CAA. If I'm not mistaken, Malaysian licence is JAA (correct me if I'm wrong)so any foreign academy which offer JAA licence, shouldn't be a problem for us to enroll the academy.
I don't know any reputable flying academy in Philippines but I think it is safer for you to get your licence here in Malaysia. MFA, APFT, HMA are quite promising though. Later you won't have to worry about the conversion and living cost and whatsoever matter that will bug you isn't it? *just an advice* hehehe :)

ReplyDeleteSyed : Yes, there will be another intake but we don't know when is the time as this depends on the airlines. I suggest you to join flylah forum. People there update faster about the intake. :)

Hi guys, I am one of the applicants during the April intake , and I recieved a mail on the spot saying that I am short listed , but I have not inform with any invitation for the 1st stage assessment yet, and now is already July. Is there anyone out there facing the same situation with me? I need some help , thanks a lot... :)

ReplyDeleteGuys , Intake is usually 4 times in a Year.. to those who got an email saying they have been short-listed means you have been invited to sit for the exam which if i am not mistaken is taken some where near lcct.. which is the 1st stage out of 4 stages of getting the job, and to those asking about philippines license . I STRONGLY advice DO NOT GO FOR IT. because no Flying schools in philippines is recognized here in malaysia , I know this because I have done the mistake and now I have to do a conversion , which has ended up costing me more..FML.. if there are any more questions, do email me on
